The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a size 600 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body, with a 1 in NPT port for high-flow compressed-air lines. This configuration carries the fine 5 um filter element (code W), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element rises, and a fitted embedded square gauge scaled in MPa so the set pressure is visible at the unit. It is the low-pressure (L) type, intended where regulated pressure stays below the standard regulator's range, and it is supplied without a mounting bracket. The size 600 bowl is aluminium alloy, and maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) with an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and pressure scale, PT, G or NPT thread, and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the take-off from a 1 in compressed-air distribution main, it removes water and fine particles and holds a low regulated supply pressure for a production hall's downstream circuits, with the MPa gauge giving operators a visible setpoint.
Feeds pneumatic clamps and fixture actuators on a machining cell that are rated for pressures below the standard regulator range; the low-pressure type and 5 um element keep the supply clean and gentle on the tooling.
Placed ahead of air knives and blow-off nozzles on a packaging or bottling conveyor line, it filters condensate and 5 um particulate out of the air and lets the line supervisor set a stable low operating pressure from the square gauge.
Start with size and port: GFR600 is the largest frame in the family, with a 1 in port, so step up to it when the line's required flow exceeds what a 400 or smaller unit can pass - and ask us to check the published flow curves against your demand, since no single rated flow figure is quoted. This unit is already built as the low-pressure (L) type with the 5 um element; if you need the standard 40 um grade or the standard regulator range instead, those are separate order codes. The differential-pressure drain suits lines that cycle often enough to clear the bowl without attention; choose a manual-drain or automatic-drain code for intermittently used or unattended installations. The fitted square gauge reads in MPa; psi or bar scales and an external round gauge are available on other codes. Thread here is NPT - PT is the standard option and G (BSPP) is also orderable - and this code omits the mounting bracket, so add a bracket code if you panel- or wall-mount. We will confirm the datasheet and sizing against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR600 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow curves from the datasheet and check the sizing against your application before you order.
On this code, condensate collected in the aluminium bowl is discharged automatically whenever the pressure drop across the 5 um element rises to the drain's threshold - no operator action needed. If the unit sits on an intermittently used line where pressure differentials rarely develop, or on an installation you want to service on a fixed schedule, ask us for the manual-drain or automatic-drain order codes instead.
