The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in PT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This size 600 unit is specified with a PT1 (1 in) port, a manual drain on the bowl, a fine 5 um filter element (the W grade, against the 40 um standard), an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a reverse/check valve fitted. The aluminium alloy bowl is the material used at size 600, and the maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). With the manual drain fitted, the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, an optional reverse/check valve, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air ahead of tool-change cylinders, clamping fixtures and pneumatic gates on a machining cell, with the 5 um element protecting fine control valves from particulate and the psi gauge giving operators a local setpoint readout.
A single 1 in supply point feeding a packaging machine's air manifold, where the regulator holds a stable pressure for case-erectors and wrap arms and the manual drain is emptied during scheduled line clean-downs.
Conditioning the main drop that feeds assembly stations and pneumatic hand tools, with the check valve holding the regulated setting against upstream fluctuation and the aluminium bowl standing up to sustained plant duty.
Size 600 with a 1 in PT port sits at the top of the GFR range, so the first check is that your line's air consumption falls within the 600-size flow curve - we can confirm this from the datasheet before you order. This unit carries the manual drain (code M), which suits installations where an operator drains the bowl as part of a routine; if you need unattended drainage, the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions are the alternatives to ask about. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer of the two published grades (40 um standard) - choose it where downstream equipment tolerates less particulate. The square gauge is fitted here with a psi scale; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are the other options. The check valve (code K) holds downstream settings if upstream supply is lost. Thread is PT as standard, with G and NPT available to order; a mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your line's air demand and we will confirm against the datasheet flow curve whether size 600 with the 1 in port is correctly sized, before you order.
This unit's bowl has a manual drain (code M): an operator opens it to release collected water, which suits attended installations with a maintenance routine. The same family is also available with an automatic drain or the differential-pressure drain as the default, for points that are not visited regularly. Note that with the manual drain fitted, the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
