The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator G1 Low-Pressure 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR600-25 is an AirTAC filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus pressure regulation combined in one body. This unit is built on the size-600 frame with a G1 (1 in) port, a 5 um filter element (code W), an automatic drain and an aluminium alloy bowl. It is the low-pressure type (L); the exact adjustment range for this variant is not published, so confirm it with us before ordering. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), a square pressure gauge scaled in psi is fitted, a reverse/check valve is included, and no mounting bracket is supplied.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in up to 1 in, and options include 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, square or external round gauges scaled in MPa, psi or bar, G or NPT thread on request, and a reverse/check valve. Rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, so send us your application and we will confirm the sizing and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding swing clamps and workholding cylinders on a machining fixture, where the low-pressure type suits circuits held at a lower set pressure and the 5 um element protects downstream valve seats from particulate and water carryover.
Supplying air knives and blow-off nozzles that dry bottles before labelling, with the regulator holding a steady low setting, the automatic drain keeping the bowl clear on an unattended line, and the check valve holding the setting if upstream supply dips.
Conditioning the air feed to spray guns in a finishing booth, where the 5 um element helps keep water and dirt out of the finish and the regulator holds the gun supply pressure steady across a shift.
Within GFR you choose the size and port first: 200, 300, 400 or 600, with ports from 1/8 in up to 1 in; this model is the largest frame at G1. Drain choice matters: differential-pressure drain is the default, automatic drain (this unit) empties the bowl without attention, and manual drain (code M) needs periodic operation. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W, as fitted here. The embedded square gauge is standard with MPa, psi or bar scales, and an external round gauge is optional. Thread is PT as standard, with G and NPT as order options, and code J deletes the mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your port size, working pressure and expected air demand, and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
The GFR family offers three drains: differential-pressure (the default), automatic (this unit, code A) and manual (code M). The automatic drain empties the bowl without operator attention, which suits unattended or continuously running lines. Manual drain needs periodic operation, and the differential-pressure drain discharges only when the pressure drop across the element is high enough.
