The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator G1 with 5 um Filter is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This size 600 unit has a G1 (1 in) port with G (BSPP) thread, a 5 um filter element, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a built-in check valve that holds downstream pressure if the supply dips, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. The bowl on this largest frame is aluminium alloy. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing); the regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in up to 1 in, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and a choice of gauge scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at a ring-main drop feeding air tools and cylinders across an assembly hall, cleaning the supply and holding a steady working pressure for the whole bench line.
Feeding the cylinders and air grippers on a carton-forming conveyor line, where the 5 um element protects directional valves and the check valve holds settings through brief supply dips.
Conditioning shop air ahead of a machining centre's pneumatic panel, regulating tool-change and clamping pressure while the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the circuit.
Size 600 with a G1 (1 in) port is the largest GFR frame; step down to 300 or 400 if your demand is lower - we can check the flow curves against your consumption before you order. The 5 um element (code W) suits finer pneumatic equipment and instrumentation; the 40 um standard element is enough for general plant air. The automatic drain suits unattended installations, while manual and differential-pressure drains are the alternatives. The embedded square gauge reads psi (MPa and bar scales are options), the check valve (code K) prevents backflow through the unit, and a mounting bracket is included. PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are order options.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your air consumption and working pressure and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet before you order.
The 5 um element (code W) filters finer than the 40 um standard, which helps protect valves, cylinders and instruments. The automatic drain ejects condensate on its own, so the bowl does not need manual draining in unattended installations.
