The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single 1-inch (NPT1) body. This configuration has a manual drain, so the bowl is emptied by hand as part of routine maintenance, and a 40 um filter element for general-purpose air preparation. A round pressure gauge with an MPa scale is fitted so the set pressure is visible at a glance, and a reverse/check valve is included to hold the downstream setting if the upstream supply is interrupted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, threads (PT standard, G and NPT as order options), drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional) and gauge styles and scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-entry preparation for the palletizer's pneumatic gripper and clamp circuit, where a 1-inch main feed needs water and particle removal plus a stable regulated pressure at the machine drop.
Air preparation for a high-volume packaging conveyor's diverter and stopper cylinders, where the manual-drain bowl is emptied during scheduled changeover and the gauge lets operators verify the set pressure.
Regulated, filtered supply to CNC fixture clamping on a 1-inch shop-air header, with the check valve helping hold the clamping pressure if the upstream supply dips.
Size 600 with a 1-inch port sits at the top of the GFR range, so start there when the line's required flow is high and step down to 400, 300 or 200 if the application is smaller. Choose the drain to match maintenance practice: manual drain (this unit) suits attended installations where the bowl is drained on a schedule, while automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended lines. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; specify the 5 um (W) option where finer filtration is needed. Gauge style and scale are selectable (embedded square or external round; MPa, psi or bar), and thread can be ordered as PT (standard), G or NPT. A bracket can be added if the unit is not panel- or manifold-mounted. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant flow data from the datasheet on request before you order.
This configuration is ordered with a manual drain (code M), meaning the bowl is drained by hand as part of scheduled maintenance. The GFR family is also available with a differential-pressure drain (the default) or an automatic drain (code A) if you prefer not to rely on manual draining.
