The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1 Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, in one body. This 600-size unit is built around a 1 in NPT port, with an automatic drain that bleeds collected condensate from the aluminium alloy bowl without manual attention, a 40 um filter element, an embedded square gauge scaled in MPa, and a reverse/check valve fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), psi or bar gauge scales, G or NPT threads and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the 1 in main drop that feeds paint booths and air-driven agitators, holding downstream pressure steady while several booths draw air at once.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to the pneumatic cylinders and grippers on a bottling or canning conveyor, with the automatic drain clearing condensate from a wet compressor system.
Installed at the compressor-room header of a sawmill or planer mill to clean and regulate plant air before it branches out to hand tools, clamps and actuated valves.
Size the unit by the port and flow step: 600 is the largest GFR frame, with a 1 in port here (06 through 25 cover 1/8 to 1 in across the series), so match the frame to the air demand of the line it feeds. Choose the drain: automatic (this unit) for unattended condensate removal, manual where you prefer a hands-on check, or differential-pressure as the catalogue default. Filter grade is 40 um standard; order code W for 5 um. The square gauge is scaled in MPa here, with psi and bar scales available, and an external round gauge is an option. PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are order options. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for you before you order.
T decodes to NPT, so this GFR600-25 is supplied with a 1 in NPT port. PT is the AirTAC standard thread, and G (BSPP) is also a catalogue option when you order.
