The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Low-Pressure Filter Regulator 1 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at a set point, all in a single body. This 600-size unit is built with a 1 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), a manual-drain bowl in aluminium alloy, a round pressure gauge reading in bar, and a reverse/check valve fitted. It is the low-pressure regulator type, and no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200 to 600, with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT, G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, gauge options, and standard or low-pressure regulation. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supply filtered, pressure-set air to spray booths and finishing lines, where the low-pressure regulator holds a gentle set point for guns and atomising air and the 5 um element keeps the air clean at the gun.
Feed loom jets and pneumatic guides from a 1 in main, with 5 um filtration protecting nozzles and the fitted reverse/check valve in the supply line.
Regulate low-pressure air to conveyor-mounted cylinders and sorting gates on carton and case lines, with manual drain-off of collected water at the end of each shift.
Step up through the GFR sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) as your port and air demand grow; this 600-size unit carries a full 1 in NPT connection for a 1 in main. Drain choice matters: manual drain (this unit) suits attended installations with a drain routine, while automatic and differential-pressure drains suit unattended lines. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer published grade versus the 40 um standard. Gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar) and this unit carries the external round gauge in bar. Thread is PT as standard, with G and NPT as order options; brackets are optional. Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set point and downstream demand and we will confirm the datasheet curves against your application before you order.
This unit has a manual drain: an operator opens the bowl drain to discharge collected water, which suits attended installations on a drain routine; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available in the family for unattended lines. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer published grade versus the 40 um standard, chosen where downstream valves and nozzles need cleaner air.
