The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Low-Pressure Filter Regulator 1in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 600 unit is built with a 1 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), an automatic drain that discharges collected condensate without manual attention, and an aluminium alloy bowl - the bowl material used at size 600. It is the low-pressure regulator type and comes with a round pressure gauge reading in bar, plus a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options including manual or differential-pressure drains, a 40 um standard element, embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a bottling line, filtered and regulated low-pressure air drives rinse nozzles and blow-off rings. The 5 um element and automatic drain keep condensed water out of the nozzles so bottles leave the station clean and dry.
Air-jet looms take a continuous feed of conditioned compressed air. A low-pressure filter regulator at each loom supply line holds the pressure the weaving process calls for while the 5 um element protects the jets from particulate.
In a paint shop, each spray station needs clean air at a set pressure. This unit filters the supply to 5 um, regulates it for the gun, and its automatic drain clears condensate from the aluminium bowl before it reaches the finish.
The real choices in this family are the size and port step, the drain type, the filter grade, the gauge and its scale, and the thread. Size 600 with a 1 in port is the largest step in the range; match the port to your line and let us confirm the flow curve against your required flow before ordering. Drains come as automatic (fitted here), manual, or differential-pressure; the element is 5 um here against the 40 um standard; the gauge is an external round type reading in bar, with embedded square gauges and MPa or psi scales available; threads can be ordered in PT (the standard) or G as well as the NPT fitted here. The low-pressure regulator type is fitted; its exact adjustment range is not published in our sheet, so confirm it with us. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Flow for this unit is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow and line pressure and we will confirm the datasheet curve and sizing for your application on request.
This configuration is fitted with an automatic drain, which discharges condensate from the aluminium bowl without operator attention. The family also offers manual and differential-pressure drains, so you can order the service approach that suits your maintenance routine.
