The AirTAC GFR600-25 G1 AirTAC Filter Regulator, 5 um, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in one body. This 600-size unit has a G1 (1 in) BSPP port, a 5 um filter element, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and an aluminium alloy bowl. The standard regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the embedded square gauge reads in psi. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual draining, MPa, psi or bar gauge scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air for the clamps, tool-change cylinders and auxiliary lines of a CNC machining center, with the 5 um element guarding fine pilot valves.
Steady regulated pressure for the pushers, diverters and stopper cylinders on a bottling or carton-packing conveyor line, with automatic drainage through continuous shifts.
Supply for impact wrenches, air ratchets and fixture clamps on an automotive assembly line, where the regulator keeps tool pressure consistent from station to station.
Choose the size by the port and flow step: sizes 200 through 600 step up in port and capacity, and this 600 unit carries a 1 in G thread. Pick the drain to suit access: automatic (as fitted here) drains itself, manual needs an operator, and differential-pressure drains on a pressure drop. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (code W, fitted here) for finer protection. Gauges are embedded square as standard with MPa, psi or bar scales, and an external round gauge is optional. Thread is PT as the catalogue standard with G and NPT as order options, and a mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Ask us to confirm the datasheet and check the curve against your required flow at your working pressure before you order.
The GFR series uses 40 um as standard, and the W code specifies the finer 5 um element. Choose 5 um where downstream pilot valves, precision cylinders or instruments need cleaner air; both grades are available across the family.
