The AirTAC GFR600-25G AirTAC Filter Regulator, G1 1 in, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds a regulated downstream pressure in one body. This size 600 unit is fitted with a G1 (1 in) thread, a manual drain, a 40 um filter element, a round psi gauge and an aluminium alloy bowl. The regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7 to 130 psi), and the unit takes a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) at -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to a CNC machine's pneumatic actuators and tool-clamp circuits: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale before the valves, the psi gauge lets the setter hold the machine's specified supply pressure, and the manual drain is emptied at shift checks.
Conditioning the air that drives carton-sealing cylinders and product diverters on a packaging conveyor, removing condensed water before it reaches directional valves while holding a steady regulated pressure so stroke timing stays repeatable.
Supplying filtered, pressure-regulated air to spray guns in a paint booth: the 40 um element knocks out water and particulate that would ruin a finish, and the round psi gauge lets the operator set the gun pressure the coating manufacturer specifies.
Choose the size and port against the flow your line needs: size 600 with a G1 (1 in) port is the largest step in the GFR range. Pick the drain to suit maintenance: manual (this unit, which widens the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa), automatic, or the differential-pressure default. The 40 um element is standard; specify code W for 5 um where finer filtration matters. For the gauge, an embedded square gauge is standard and an external round gauge is optional, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options - a specification choice, not a delivery one - and a mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request.
A manual drain is emptied by hand at maintenance intervals, and on this GFR600-25G it also widens the regulator's adjustment range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), compared with 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) for automatic or differential-pressure drains. If the unit is mounted where it is hard to reach, the automatic drain (code A) is the alternative.
