The AirTAC GFR600-25LJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body. This unit, GFR600-25LJNWT, is the 600 size with 1 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (code W), a differential-pressure drain and the low-pressure regulator type. It is supplied without a gauge and without a mounting bracket, and the 600-size bowl is aluminium alloy. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, filter grades of 40 um (standard) or 5 um (W), differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and standard or low-pressure regulators, with G (BSPP) and NPT thread options to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

At the head of a paint-shop air main, the 1 in NPT connection fits the main supply, the 5 um element strips water and fine particulate before air reaches the spray booths, and the low-pressure regulator holds the gentle setpoints finishing work calls for.
On a packaging conveyor, downstream clamp and gate cylinders need steady, moderate pressure. The low-pressure regulator sets it, the 5 um element keeps moisture and debris out of the valves, and the differential-pressure drain handles condensate without daily attention.
Ahead of a bank of directional control valves on a machine frame, this filter regulator cleans the air to 5 um and regulates it to the low pressures the circuit requires. With no gauge fitted, add a downstream gauge where setpoint monitoring is needed.
Step up through the GFR sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) to match the port your line needs; this 600 unit carries 1 in NPT ports, the largest in the family. Choose the drain: differential-pressure (the default here), automatic (A) or manual (M). Choose the element: 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code, as selected on this unit. The L code makes this the low-pressure regulator type rather than the standard one. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options to order, and this unit is the NPT version. The J code means no mounting bracket, and the N code means no gauge is fitted; a gauge and bracket are available as options.
Because AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves and not as a single rated figure, we do not quote a flow number here. Ask us to confirm sizing from the datasheet against your line pressure and air demand before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR600 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
The differential-pressure drain, the default with no drain letter in the code, discharges collected condensate automatically once the pressure drop across the element builds sufficiently, so no manual draining is needed in normal service. The W selects the 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard, for finer protection of downstream tools and instruments.
