The AirTAC GFR600-25MLJF2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25MLJF2WT is a 600-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the low-pressure type (code L) with a 1 in NPT port, a manual drain on the bowl, a 5 um filter element (the finer W grade), a factory-fitted embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and no mounting bracket. With manual drainage, an operator opens the drain at the bottom of the bowl to expel collected condensate, which suits installations visited on a routine maintenance round.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Position this filter regulator on the pilot-air takeoff feeding diaphragm or butterfly valve actuators in a water-treatment or process plant, where clean, low-pressure air must be held steady for reliable valve actuation.
Install the unit ahead of the sealing and tucking cylinders on a carton-sealing line, filtering condensed water out of the shop air and regulating it down to the gentle pressure the sealing jaws need without crushing the carton.
Fit the unit upstream of low-pressure air knives or blow-off nozzles that strip dust and cool parts on a conveyor, so the jets see filtered, moisture-free air at a stable, gentle setting.
Start with the port step: this unit is 600 size with a 1 in NPT thread, the largest port in the GFR range, so size up to it when your line's flow demand calls for the biggest connection - we confirm the flow curve against your requirement before you order. Choose the drain to match maintenance access: manual (this unit) needs an operator to bleed the bowl, automatic drains continuously unattended, and differential-pressure drains when the element loads up. This unit carries the 5 um W element where finer particulate removal is needed; the 40 um standard element remains available in the family. The embedded square gauge is fitted here with a psi scale; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. PT is the standard thread and G and NPT are order options; brackets are optional (this unit ships without one).
Note that this is the low-pressure type (L): its regulation range is not published as a single figure, so confirm the operating band with us against your application. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR600 series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, downstream demand and acceptable pressure drop, and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curve for your application before you order.
The L marks the low-pressure type of regulator, intended for applications regulated below the standard band; its exact range is not published as a single figure, so confirm it with us for your setpoint. The M marks a manual drain: condensate collecting in the bowl is released by opening the drain fitting at the bottom, so plan a routine check of the bowl as part of your maintenance rounds.
