The AirTAC GFR600-25T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR600-25T is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation combined in a single 600-size body with a 1 in NPT port. This configuration carries the 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain on the bowl, a fitted round pressure gauge with an MPa scale, and no mounting bracket. Because the unit is size 600, the bowl is aluminium alloy, and the maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) over a -5 to 70 C (non-freezing) temperature range.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge and thread options, and a low-pressure (L) regulator variant. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaned and regulated air at each paint-line drop, with the 40 um element catching pipe scale and water before it reaches spray equipment, and the manual drain emptied at shift checks.

Sizing a GFR unit is a stepwise decode. Choose the size by port and expected demand: this 600 size carries a 1 in port, the largest in the range, for high-flow lines. Choose the drain to suit attendance: manual drain (this unit) needs someone to open it, automatic drains without attention, and the differential-pressure default drains on a set pressure drop. Choose the element: 40 um standard for general air, 5 um (code W) where finer filtration is wanted. Gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar; this unit is round, MPa), and thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT. Bracket is omitted on this configuration (code J).
One honest note before ordering: AirTAC publishes filter-regulator flow as curves, not a single rated number, so send us your line pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you commit.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes filter-regulator capacity as flow curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can quote. Tell us your inlet pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code means the bowl drain is opened by hand, which suits attended installations on a maintenance round. The automatic-drain option (code A) ejects condensate without attention, and the standard differential-pressure drain operates on a set pressure drop. All three share the same regulation range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) on this manual-drain configuration.
