The AirTAC GFR600-25T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body, so one 1 in NPT connection handles both jobs. This configuration is the size 600 unit with a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain on the bowl, the low-pressure regulator type, a round psi gauge, a built-in reverse/check valve, and no mounting bracket. The bowl on size 600 units is aluminium alloy. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with options covering drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options), bracket and reverse valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a 1 in branch line that serves a cluster of air cylinders and air tools at one work cell, with the 5 um element catching pipe scale and the manual drain cleared during scheduled checks.
Regulating the header feeding conveyor-mounted clamp, pusher and case-taping cylinders, where the check valve holds the downstream setting and the manual drain is emptied at shift end.
Supplying fixture-clamp and part-hold-down circuits on a CNC machining centre, where the low-pressure regulator type sets a lower working pressure and the psi gauge gives the operator a direct read.
Step up through the GFR sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) and their ports (1/8 in to 1 in) against the flow your line needs; this 600-size unit takes a 1 in NPT connection for the largest ports in the family. Choose the drain to match maintenance: differential-pressure (default), automatic, or manual as coded here. Pick the element grade: 40 um standard or 5 um (W) for finer protection. Gauge style and scale (square embedded, or external round in MPa, psi or bar - this unit carries a round psi gauge), thread (PT standard; G or NPT to order) and bracket are all real, decodable choices. Note that the low-pressure regulator type has its own adjustment range, which we confirm on request. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to check the curve against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code selects a manual drain: condensate collects in the aluminium bowl and is released by hand at intervals you set. If the unit sits where nobody drains it regularly, the automatic-drain version of the same GFR600 configuration removes that task - it is a decodable option, not an accessory to add later.
