The AirTAC GFR600-25T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR600-25T is an AirTAC filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is built on the size-600 frame with a 1 in NPT port, carries the finer 5 um filter element (code W, against the 40 um standard), has a manual drain on its aluminium alloy bowl, an embedded square gauge scaled in MPa, and the low-pressure regulator type (code L). No mounting bracket and no reverse/check valve are fitted. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), with an operating temperature range of -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT available to order, plus a choice of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale. Flow for this size is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures against your application and we will send the datasheet.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Bottling and canning lines run wide air knives to strip rinse water from containers before labelling. This filter regulator cleans the supply and holds a steady low set pressure to the knives, and the 1 in NPT port suits the larger feed piping those manifolds use.
Woodworking and panel CNC routers often hold workpieces with low-pressure pneumatic clamps, where a hard set pressure could crush the stock. The low-pressure regulator type, 5 um element and MPa gauge let the operator filter the shop air and read and hold a gentle set point at the machine.
Spray booths and powder-coating lines need clean, moisture-free air at a stable low pressure for atomizing or powder fluidization. This unit filters water and particulate down to 5 um and regulates the feed in one body, and its manual-drain aluminium bowl is emptied during booth housekeeping.
Choose GFR when one body must both clean the air and hold a set pressure. Step through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 (ports 1/8 to 1 inch) as your air demand grows; this unit is the largest of the range, with a 1 in NPT port. Drain type is a real decision: a manual drain means you bleed the bowl by hand on a schedule, an automatic drain (code A) empties on its own, and the differential-pressure drain (the default) discharges only when the element loads up. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code, which this unit carries. Gauge style and scale (embedded square or optional external round; MPa, psi or bar) and the thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are all set in the ordering code.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so we cannot quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your inlet pressure, set pressure and expected air consumption and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request.
The L code makes this the low-pressure regulator variant, intended for applications set well below standard regulator pressures; the exact range for that variant is not published on our sheet, so confirm it with us before ordering. The M code is the manual drain: the aluminium alloy bowl collects separated water and you bleed it off by hand as part of routine maintenance, rather than relying on an automatic or differential-pressure drain.
