The AirTAC GFR600-25T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25T is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is threaded 1 in NPT, uses the standard 40 um filter element, and has an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and a round pressure gauge with an MPa scale is fitted so the set pressure can be read directly. A reverse/check valve is fitted, and no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge styles and scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the take-off point of a factory compressed-air ring main, it filters bulk water and scale from the 1 in supply line and holds a steady regulated pressure for the downstream distribution headers.
Feeding the air cylinders and pneumatic clamps on a packaging or palletising conveyor line, it conditions the supply and keeps actuator pressure stable as multiple stations cycle.
Mounted in the air-preparation panel of a CNC machine tool or press, it delivers filtered, regulated air to tool changers, clamps and blow-off circuits, with the MPa gauge giving the operator a direct pressure readout.
Size 600 with a 1 in port sits at the top of the GFR range, so step up to this size when your line's required flow exceeds what a 3/4 in unit can pass - and ask us to confirm the flow curve against your consumption before ordering. Drain type is a real choice: automatic drain (this unit) suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations, manual drain suits supervised points, and differential-pressure drain is the default. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify code W for 5 um where finer particulate removal is needed. Gauge style and scale are selectable (round or square; MPa, psi or bar - this unit is round, MPa). Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard and G is also a catalogue option. Brackets are optional - this configuration ships without one.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR600 series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
The automatic drain expels collected condensate from the bowl by itself, so it suits installations that run unattended or are awkward to reach. Manual drain is the alternative where an operator is on hand, and differential-pressure drain is the catalogue default; all three are orderable choices in the GFR range.
