The AirTAC GFR600-25T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 1 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25T is a filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This configuration is the size 600 unit with a 1 in NPT port, fitted with the fine 5 um filter element (code W) for cleaner air than the standard 40 um grade, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes through, and an embedded square gauge reading in bar. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the size 600 bowl is aluminium alloy. No bracket is fitted and no reverse/check valve is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures for this series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on the 1 in main drop feeding a production hall, it cleans the compressed air with the 5 um element and holds a stable header pressure for every downstream branch.
Mounted ahead of a bank of directional control valves on an automated line, it strips water and fine particles and keeps supply pressure steady so valve shift points stay repeatable.
Fitted at the inlet of the air circuit driving conveyor stoppers and carton-forming cylinders, it protects the actuators from condensate and locks in the pressure the cycle was tuned to.
Step up through the GFR sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) as port size and air demand grow; this 600 unit takes a 1 in NPT connection, so match it to a 1 in line or the outlet of a larger compressor or dryer. Choose the drain to suit access: differential-pressure (this unit) drains with flow, automatic drains on a cycle, and manual suits attended installations. Pick the 5 um element (code W) where downstream equipment needs finer air than the 40 um standard, and choose the gauge scale - MPa, psi or bar - to match your other instruments. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options; brackets are optional on GFR.
One honest note before you order: flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you commit.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of your equipment and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The W in the code GFR60025JF3WT selects the optional 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard, giving finer filtration for sensitive downstream equipment. The blank drain position gives the differential-pressure drain, which passes condensate as air flows through; automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are available on other configurations.
