The AirTAC GFR600-25T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25T is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built around a 1 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain on the bowl, and a fitted round gauge reading in psi. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Because this is the 600 size, the bowl is aluminium alloy, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and is available with automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (code W) element option, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, G or NPT thread options, and low-pressure variants. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet numbers for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use preparation on 1 in main drops feeding pneumatic impact tools, air cylinders and clamping fixtures, with the manual drain emptied during shift-end checks.
Clean, regulated air for diverters, pushers and clamp cylinders on high-throughput packaging conveyors, where the 1 in port serves a whole conveyor section.
Supplying regulated air to large pneumatic quarter-turn valve actuators on plant pipework, with the round psi gauge letting technicians set and verify actuator pressure.
Start with the port and size: the 600 series is the largest GFR frame, taking a 1 in connection, so size up to it when your main air drop or large actuator supply demands the bigger port. Choose the drain type deliberately: manual drain means someone opens the bowl drain periodically, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention - manual drain also widens the regulator adjustment range down to 0.05 MPa. Pick the 40 um standard element for general plant air, or order the W variant for 5 um filtration. Gauges are offered embedded square or external round, in MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options - this code is the NPT version. A bracket is included; J codes omit it.
One honest note before you commit: flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm the right size from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code selects a manual drain: condensate is emptied by opening the bowl drain at intervals you set. The alternatives are automatic drain (A) and differential-pressure drain (blank), which discharge condensate without attention. For a manual-drain GFR the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). This unit also carries the 40 um standard element and a round psi gauge.
