The AirTAC GFR60020AJF1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR60020AJF1T is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/4 in NPT port, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, a standard regulator with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, and an embedded square gauge scaled in MPa. The aluminium alloy bowl suits the larger size-600 body, and no mounting bracket is included with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is also available in sizes 200, 300 and 400, with 5 um (code W) filtration, manual or differential-pressure drains, external round gauges with MPa/psi/bar scales, G or PT threads, and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use preparation for the 3/4 in main feeding a CNC machining cell: water and swarf-laden particulate are stripped out and the downstream pressure is set and held for clamping and tool-change circuits, with the automatic drain handling condensate between shifts.
Mounted on the air header serving a bottling line's pneumatic actuators and grippers, where the 40 um element protects directional valves from water and debris and the regulator holds a stable setting across the filler, capper and labeler stations.
Conditioning the supply to pop-up diverters and sorting gates on a distribution conveyor system: clean, regulated air keeps the gate cylinders cycling consistently, and the automatic drain suits a bay where the compressor runs unattended overnight.
Size 600 with a 3/4 in port is the largest GFR step, so match it to the air consumption of the machines on the line before ordering. Choose the automatic drain where condensate loads are steady and nobody will walk the line daily; manual and differential-pressure drains are the alternatives on other codes. The 40 um element is the standard grade - specify 5 um (code W) only where finer particulate removal is required. The square gauge is embedded and scaled in MPa; an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar is optional. NPT is the thread on this code, with G and PT available to order, and this code carries no mounting bracket.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated number, we cannot quote a rated flow here - send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet so you can size the unit correctly before ordering.
The A in the code selects the automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate on its own - useful where the unit is not checked daily. The GFR family also offers a manual drain (code M) for lighter condensate loads and a differential-pressure drain (blank) as the default; all three share the same 0.15-0.9 MPa regulation range on this standard type.
