The AirTAC GFR60020C3WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR60020C3WT is a size 600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built with a 3/4 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically as flow passes through, and a round pressure gauge reading in bar. The size 600 bowl on this unit is aluminium alloy, and the maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). As a standard-type regulator its adjustment range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT (standard), G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the 3/4 in main air drop feeding a CNC machining centre, the 5 um element and pressure regulation protect solenoid valves and air bearings from condensate and particles while holding a stable set pressure for clamping and tool-change circuits.
Mounted ahead of the cylinder banks on a carton-forming and sealing line, this unit gives each shift a single point to filter the shop air and set the working pressure for case-erector and sealer actuators, with the bar gauge giving operators a visible setpoint.
Used at a 3/4 in take-off from a factory compressed-air ring main, the aluminium bowl and differential-pressure drain handle condensate carry-over from the main, delivering cleaned, regulated air to downstream workstations and air tools.
Sizing a GFR starts with the size and port step: 200, 300, 400 and 600 cover progressively larger ports (here 3/4 in NPT) and progressively higher flow, so match the size to the air demand of the circuit rather than to the pipe alone. From there the real choices are drain type (differential-pressure as fitted here, automatic, or manual), filter grade (40 um standard or the 5 um element fitted on this unit for finer protection), gauge style and scale (the embedded square gauge is standard; this unit carries an external round gauge reading in bar, with MPa and psi scales also published), thread family (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options), and whether a mounting bracket is included, as it is here. A reverse/check valve can also be specified on request codes.
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet curve and sizing against your demand before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number for this unit. Tell us your application and downstream demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and check the sizing for you before you order.
In the code GFR60020C3WT, the W selects the 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard grade, and C3 selects the optional external round gauge with a bar scale (MPa and psi scales are also published). The embedded square gauge remains the standard arrangement if you prefer it on a future order.
