The AirTAC GFR60020MJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR60020MJNWT is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has 3/4 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two available grades), a manual drain bowl, and a standard regulator with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No gauge is fitted and no mounting bracket is supplied with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge options and bracket options. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the drop to a CNC machining cell, it cleans the shop air to 5 um and holds a set pressure for clamps, tool changers and pneumatic actuation on the machine.
Mounted on the supply to a packaging line, it conditions air for carton sealers, case erectors and cylinder-driven diverters while keeping the regulated pressure stable across the shift.
Fitted ahead of a spray finishing setup, it strips water and fine particulate from the compressed air feed and regulates the pressure delivered to the coating equipment.
Size 600 is the largest GFR frame and carries the highest flow capacity of the range, so step up to it when your line demand sits above what a 400 can pass at an acceptable pressure drop; the 3/4 in NPT port here matches larger downstream pipework. The 5 um element suits air that feeds sensitive components; choose the standard 40 um grade where coarser protection is enough. The manual drain means an operator opens the bowl drain periodically - pick automatic or differential-pressure drain if the unit is mounted where regular access is difficult. No gauge is fitted with this code, so add a separate gauge if local pressure indication is needed, and note that PT is the standard thread with G and NPT available as order options. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as characteristic curves rather than a single rated figure, so no one flow number can be quoted here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant datasheet figures on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the aluminium bowl is released by opening the drain when needed, which suits installations the operator can reach on a routine walk-round. If the unit will be mounted out of easy reach, ask about the automatic or differential-pressure drain variants of the same GFR600 size.
