The AirTAC GFR60020MLF2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR60020MLF2G is an AirTAC GFR600 filter regulator: a 40 um air filter and a pressure regulator combined in one body, sized for G3/4 (3/4 in) ports. This unit is the low-pressure regulator type (code L); its exact adjustment range is not published in the material we hold, so we confirm it on request. Water and particulate collect in the aluminium alloy bowl used at size 600, and the M code means a manual drain: the bowl is vented by hand during routine checks rather than by an automatic or differential-pressure drain. An embedded square gauge reading in psi is fitted, a mounting bracket is included, and no reverse (check) valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with automatic, manual or differential-pressure draining, a 5 um element (code W) instead of the standard 40 um, MPa, psi or bar gauge scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and with or without the mounting bracket. Published flow data for GFR units takes the form of curves rather than a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing and datasheet figures before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use filtration and regulation for the pneumatic sealing and carton-eject cylinders on a packaging line, with the fitted psi square gauge giving operators a local pressure readout at the machine.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to a light-duty pneumatic clamp or hold-down on a machining or assembly fixture where the job calls for the low-pressure regulator type rather than the standard unit.
Feeding an air-knife or nozzle blow-off that clears dust and water from containers on a bottling or food conveyor, with the 40 um element stopping particulate from reaching the nozzles.
The real choices in this family are decodable from the code. Step up or down through sizes 200/300/400/600 to match the port and the flow your line needs - the 600 size here carries a G3/4 port. Choose the drain: differential-pressure (default), automatic (A) for unattended bowls, or manual (M) as fitted here, where an operator drains the bowl during routine checks. Choose the element: 40 um standard or 5 um with code W for finer protection. Gauge scale is MPa, psi (as fitted here, square gauge) or bar, and an external round gauge is optional. Thread is PT as standard, with G (fitted here) and NPT as order options; a mounting bracket is included unless code J is specified. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one rated flow number we can quote honestly. Send us your line pressure, port size and downstream demand and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The trailing G means this unit is built with G (BSPP) parallel threads on its G3/4 ports; PT is the standard thread for the series and NPT is also available as an order option. The M in the code is the drain: a manual drain, so the aluminium alloy bowl is emptied by hand during routine maintenance instead of by an automatic or differential-pressure drain.
