The AirTAC GFR60025AF2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR60025AF2WT is a 600-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built with a 5 um filter element for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and an embedded square gauge scaled in psi for direct downstream pressure reading. It carries NPT1 (1 in) ports and an aluminium alloy bowl, which is the bowl material used at the 600 size.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT (standard), G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, and gauge or no-gauge builds. Flow figures for this series are published as curves rather than a single rated number, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fitted at the drop to a spray-booth manifold, the unit removes water and fine particulate from the compressed air supply and holds a steady regulated pressure to the paint application equipment, with the automatic drain handling condensate in a booth that is not drained by hand every shift.
Installed ahead of the pneumatic cylinders and clamps on a carton-sealing conveyor, the unit filters the shop air to 5 um and regulates it to the pressure the station was set up for, with the psi gauge giving operators a visible setpoint at the machine.
Mounted on the machine frame with the included bracket, the unit conditions and regulates the air feeding a machining centre's fixture-clamping circuit, keeping chips and water out of the clamp valves while the automatic drain copes with condensate in the 1 in main feed.
Start with size and port: the 600 is the largest GFR frame, and this unit is drilled for NPT1 (1 in) piping, so match it to a line where 1 in connections are the norm. Choose the drain to suit access: automatic drain (as fitted here) suits installations that are not checked daily, manual drain suits attended stations, and the differential-pressure default drains on a pressure differential. Filtration is 5 um on this unit (the 40 um standard grade is the alternative if finer filtration is not required). The square gauge is scaled in psi; MPa and bar scales are also available, and an external round gauge is an option. Thread is NPT here, with PT as the standard build and G as an order option; a mounting bracket is included.
Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm the correct sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated number, so there is no one l/min or SCFM figure we can quote. Send us your application and we will confirm the relevant datasheet flow figures for the 600 size on request before you order.
The standard GFR build uses a 40 um element and a differential-pressure drain. The W in the code GFR60025AF2WT specifies the finer 5 um grade, and the A specifies the automatic drain, which expels condensate on its own instead of relying on a pressure differential or a manual visit. Both choices are order options, so you can specify 40 um or a different drain type if your application prefers.
