The AirTAC GFR60025LJC2W AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in PT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR60025LJC2W is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This size 600 unit carries a 1 in PT port for high-flow supply lines, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two catalogue grades), and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element rises. It is the low-pressure (L) type, intended for circuits set well below standard line pressures, and it comes fitted with an external round pressure gauge scaled in psi. At size 600 the drain bowl is aluminium alloy. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No mounting bracket is included with this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a choice of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread form (PT standard, G and NPT as order options) and bracket. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Drops in ahead of the distribution manifold on a bottling hall's compressed-air ring main, cleaning the supply and holding a steady low set pressure for the filler, capper and labeler actuators fed from it.
Sits at the feed to a conveyor's pneumatic diverters, gate stoppers and pusher cylinders, where the 5 um element protects the directional valves from water and fine debris carried in the 1 in trunk line.
Feeds the clamping cylinders on a CNC machining fixture, giving the operator a locally adjusted, stable low-pressure clamp setting read directly off the psi gauge instead of the main line regulator.
Size and port are the first decision: step up through 200, 300, 400 and 600 as your required flow and pipe size grow - this unit is already at the top of the range with a 1 in PT port. Filter grade is a real choice here: 40 um is the standard element and 5 um (code W) is the finer option fitted to this model, so pick 5 um where downstream valves and cylinders need cleaner air. Drain type is also selectable: differential-pressure (fitted here), fully automatic, or manual. The gauge can be embedded square or external round, scaled in MPa, psi or bar - this unit has a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order, and a bracket is optional (not fitted here). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR600 as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure that is not in the datasheet. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air demand and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The W in the code selects the finer 5 um filter grade instead of the 40 um standard element - the right choice when downstream valves and cylinders need cleaner air. The blank drain position is the differential-pressure type, which discharges collected condensate automatically as the pressure drop across the element rises, with no daily manual draining.
