The AirTAC GFR60025MC2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G1 (1 in) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds the downstream pressure at your setpoint. This configuration is the size 600 unit with a G1 (1 in) G-thread port, a 5 um filter element (the W grade, finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain on the aluminium alloy bowl, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a mounting bracket included. At size 600 the larger port and aluminium bowl suit main-line industrial duty, with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and a working temperature range of -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series runs from size 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of PT (standard), G or NPT thread, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, and embedded square or external round gauges scaled in MPa, psi or bar. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the compressor-room header of a bottling plant, the GFR600-25 strips water and pipe scale from the main supply and holds a steady setpoint feeding the filler, capper and labeler valves downstream.
Feeding a bank of CNC machining centers from a single 1 in drop, it keeps rust and particulate out of the directional valves and cylinders while holding a stable pressure for clamping and tool-change circuits.
On a palletizing line served by a 1 in trunk line, the unit regulates supply pressure to the gripper and clamp actuators while the 5 um element protects the distribution valves from debris carried in from the main.
Every choice in this series is decodable from the code. Size 200/300/400/600 sets the port (1/8 to 1 in) and should be stepped up until the port and the published flow curve cover the air demand of your line. Drain type is differential-pressure (default), automatic or manual - this unit is manual, so condensate is emptied on a routine you set. Filtration is 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code, as here, for finer protection of downstream valves and actuators. Gauges are an embedded square gauge as standard or an external round gauge, scaled in MPa, psi or bar (this one is round, psi). Thread is PT as the standard, with G and NPT as order options, and a bracket is included unless J is coded.
For this manual-drain, standard-type unit the regulated outlet adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) under a maximum inlet of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Because rated flow is published only as curves and not as a single figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR600 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, setpoint and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
This model is coded M for a manual drain: accumulated condensate is emptied by hand on a routine you set. The same GFR600 body is also available with a differential-pressure drain (the default) or a fully automatic drain - ask for the equivalent code and we will confirm the details.
