The AirTAC GFR600C20 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 with Check Valve is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600C20AF2TK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 600 unit has 3/4 in NPT ports, a 40 um standard filter element, and an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and an embedded square gauge with a psi scale is fitted so the set pressure is visible at the unit. A reverse/check valve is fitted, holding downstream pressure if the upstream supply drops. At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and is orderable with manual or automatic drains, a 5 um (code W) element, MPa/psi/bar gauge scales, G or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and a reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air at the machine inlet keeps spindle-clamp and tool-change cylinders working consistently; the automatic drain handles condensate on a continuously running compressor line.
Feeding diverters, clamp cylinders and bagger actuators on a packaging conveyor, the regulator holds a steady set pressure while the 40 um element stops scale and pipe debris reaching the valves.
A point-of-use filter regulator ahead of gripper and press-fit circuits, with the check valve holding the set pressure if the main header is momentarily depressurised.
Size and port set the flow path: the 600 body with 3/4 in NPT ports suits higher-demand lines, while smaller GFR sizes (200/300/400) step down to 1/8-1/2 in ports. Choose the drain to match attendance on site: automatic (this unit) drains itself, manual needs an operator, and differential-pressure drain is the default. The 40 um element is standard; specify the W code for 5 um where finer filtration is needed. Gauge scale is selectable as MPa, psi or bar (this unit is psi), and the square gauge is embedded while an external round gauge is optional. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is an orderable option. A bracket is included for panel or wall mounting. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air demand and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The A in the code sets an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the aluminium bowl without manual attention - useful on lines that run unattended. The K sets a reverse/check valve, which holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply drops. Both are order-time choices: manual or differential-pressure drains, and no check valve, are available on other GFR600 configurations.
