GFR600C25ALC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1 Low Pressure

The AirTAC GFR600C25ALC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1 Low Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR600C25ALC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1 Low Pressure

The AirTAC GFR600C25ALC2 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 600 unit has a PT1 (1 in) PT-thread port, a 40 um filter element, an automatic drain that expels condensate without manual attention, and a low-pressure regulator with a round gauge scaled in psi. The bowl on this largest frame is aluminium alloy, and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) at -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).

This is a genuine AirTAC part. GFR600 is the largest frame in the GFR range, which spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, drain choices of differential-pressure, automatic or manual, an optional 5 um element (code W), and G or NPT thread options to order. A mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

GFR600G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range.
C2Port size See datasheet. This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR600C25ALC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1 Low Pressure Is Used

factory

Bottling plant air header

Installed on a 1 in compressed-air header serving a bottling line, it filters water and particles from the main supply and holds a steady low regulated pressure to the filling, capping and labelling actuators.

settings_input_component

Textile spinning room

Spinning and weaving machines consume large volumes of low-pressure air; this unit conditions the supply at the machine inlet, draining condensate automatically through long production shifts.

conveyor_belt

Corrugated packaging line

On a carton-forming conveyor section, the regulator keeps the low working pressure the box erectors and glue heads were set up for, while the 40 um element stops scale and rust reaching the control valves.

Is the GFR600C25ALC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1 Low Pressure the Right Unit?

Size and port step up with flow demand: GFR200 through GFR600, here the 600 frame with a PT1 (1 in) PT-thread port - G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. The automatic drain suits unattended duty; manual and differential-pressure drains are the alternatives in this family. The 40 um element is standard; specify 5 um (code W) for finer filtration. The fitted round gauge is scaled in psi; square gauges and MPa or bar scales are available. A mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR600C25ALC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1 Low Pressure FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR600 frame as curves rather than a single rated figure, and the low-pressure regulator's working range is not listed as a single number either. Contact us with your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet figures and check the sizing with you before you order.

The A in the code sets the automatic drain, which expels collected condensate without manual attention - useful on unattended or high-condensate installations. The GFR family is also available with manual or differential-pressure drains; ask us for the alternative model code.
