The AirTAC GR20008JNTK AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator, NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/4" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR20008JNTK is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator in the 200 size with a 1/4 in NPT port. It does one job only: holding a stable downstream working pressure from a compressed-air supply, adjustable across 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). This configuration carries the J code (no mounting bracket supplied, though the GR is also panel-mountable), the N code (no pressure gauge fitted), and the K code (a reverse/check valve is fitted, which lets downstream pressure vent back through the unit when the upstream supply is removed). Its operating temperature range is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G family, so it suits colder installations.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR line spans the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, in standard and low-pressure (L) types, with optional gauges, brackets and reverse valves, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set a fixed downstream pressure feeding clamp cylinders on a CNC fixture so workholding force stays consistent from cycle to cycle, with the check valve holding the circuit when the main supply is shut off.
Regulate the air feeding sealing bars, diverters and small cylinders on a packaging line, using the 1/4 in port to drop from the plant ring main to the pressure the machine's valve manifold is set up for.
Trim bench pressure for a test rig or pneumatic tool station from a shop-air drop, with the -20 to 70 C range and panel-mountable body suiting an enclosed instrument cabinet.
Start with the port step: the 200 size takes a 1/4 in port, and the right size is the one whose flow curve covers your air demand at acceptable pressure drop - we can check the curve against your consumption if you send the figures. Decide the downstream set pressure: this standard type covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); if you need only up to 0.4 MPa, the GR low-pressure (L) type exists in the same family. Choose the thread: PT is the catalogue standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT (as on this model) as order options. Then pick the accessories: a gauge (embedded square, or optional external round, with MPa, psi or bar scale) if you want to read the set pressure, a bracket if you prefer body-mounted fixing over panel mounting, and the K reverse/check valve when downstream pressure should vent back on shutdown. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure for this unit. Send us your inlet pressure, set pressure and air consumption, and we will confirm the sizing from the GR200 datasheet on request before you order.
No to both as coded: the N code means no gauge is fitted and the J code means no bracket is supplied. A gauge (embedded square or optional external round, with MPa, psi or bar scale) and a bracket are orderable options on the GR family, and the unit is also panel-mountable without a bracket.
