The AirTAC GR20008LJNT AirTAC Air Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure Type is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/4" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The AirTAC GR20008LJNT is a compressed-air pressure regulator and nothing else: it reduces and holds a steady downstream pressure, with no filter, no bowl and no lubrication function. This GR200-size unit is fitted with a 1/4 in NPT port and is the low-pressure (L) type, so its setpoint range goes up to 0.4 MPa - suited to circuits that must never see full line pressure. No pressure gauge is fitted (code N) and no mounting bracket is supplied (code J); the GR body is also panel-mountable, so you can fix it directly to a machine plate or manifold.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge or no-gauge, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| L | Low-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

On a carton-sealing or tray-forming line, delicate clamping cylinders must grip without crushing. The GR20008LJNT steps the 1/4 in NPT supply down to a capped low pressure so the clamp actuators hold parts gently and repeatably shift after shift.
Pneumatically actuated butterfly and ball valves on a water-treatment or chemical skid need a steady, limited pilot pressure for their positioners. This low-pressure regulator on the pilot leg keeps actuator force within the valve maker's rated range.
A paint or adhesive coating booth runs its guns at modest, closely held pressure for consistent film build. Fitted in the 1/4 in drop to the gun station, this regulator lets the operator set and hold the working pressure without overspray-driving surges.
Start with the port step: this unit is 1/4 in NPT, and larger GR sizes (300/400/600) carry larger ports for higher air demand - match the size to the flow your circuit needs. Next, choose the regulation class: this is the low-pressure (L) type with a setpoint up to 0.4 MPa; the standard GR type covers a higher range, so pick L only where the downstream equipment is rated at or below 0.4 MPa. Decide whether you need a gauge (this code has none) and which scale - MPa, psi or bar - if you add one later. Thread is NPT here because PT is the standard and G/NPT are order options; a bracket can be specified if you do not panel-mount. Flow for the GR series is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR-series flow as characteristic curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM figure. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and the air demand of your equipment, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
As coded, the GR20008LJNT ships without a pressure gauge (the N position), so you set the outlet pressure by turning the adjuster and checking downstream with your own instrument. GR regulators can be ordered with a gauge fitted - embedded square or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scales - and this unit is also panel-mountable, so a panel gauge can be used instead.
