The AirTAC GR300-08 AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/4" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR300-08 is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator: it does one job, holding a stable downstream pressure from a compressed-air supply, and it carries no filter element, no bowl and no lubricator. This size 300 unit has a 1/4 in NPT port, the standard (not low-pressure) regulator type, and an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). It is fitted with an external round pressure gauge reading in bar, and the maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G-series families.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include a low-pressure type (up to 0.4 MPa), a reverse/check valve, alternative gauge scales (MPa, psi or bar) and G or NPT threads in addition to the PT standard. GR units are panel-mountable and a mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Fixing bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set a fixed, repeatable downstream pressure for a 1/4-in-plumbed clamping or light press circuit on a production machine, so cycle force stays consistent shift after shift.
Feed packaging and cartoning machine cylinders from a regulated 1/4 in branch, holding steady pressure to sealing bars and pick-and-place actuators on the line.
Drop the GR300-08 into a machine's pneumatic sub-board to give each downstream circuit its own adjustable setpoint, with the round bar gauge giving operators a local reading.
Start with the port step: size 300 with a 1/4 in NPT port suits lines plumbed at 1/4 in; step up to GR400 or GR600 for larger ports and higher flow demand, or down to GR200 for compact circuits. Set the downstream pressure anywhere in the 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) range; if your process runs below that, the low-pressure L variant (up to 0.4 MPa) is the decodable alternative. Gauge choices are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries the round gauge in bar. Threads are PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as orderable options, and a mounting bracket is included (order the J suffix to omit it).
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes GR flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your application and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not state a flow number here. Tell us your application and required downstream conditions and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
Yes. GR regulators accept an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, and the scale is a decodable choice: 1 = MPa, 2 = psi, 3 = bar. The GR30008C3T code specifies the round gauge with the bar scale; other scale combinations are available as separate orderable codes.
