GR30008LF3TK AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator NPT1/4

The AirTAC GR30008LF3TK AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/4" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.

About the GR30008LF3TK AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator NPT1/4

The GR30008LF3TK is an AirTAC GR300 low-pressure air pressure regulator for compressed air, with 1/4 in NPT ports. This is the low-pressure (L) type, so it holds downstream settings up to 0.4 MPa rather than the full standard range, with a maximum inlet (working) pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). The code also specifies an embedded square gauge with a bar scale, a built-in reverse (check) valve so downstream pressure is held if the supply drops, and a mounting bracket included as standard; the GR body is also panel-mountable. As a pure regulator it contains no filter, no bowl and no drain, and it handles a wider temperature span than the rest of the G family: -20 to 70 C.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G or NPT threads, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge scale in MPa, psi or bar, an optional external round gauge, a reverse-valve option, and bracket or no-bracket variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the flow and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

FGauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square.
3Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
KReverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted.

Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.

Size Class

  • GR300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GR400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GR600PT3/4" - PT1"

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Low-pressure clamping circuit on a pneumatic press

Set and hold a reduced, fixed downstream pressure for a clamping or holding cylinder that must not see full line pressure, with the check valve keeping the setting stable if the shop supply dips.

Packaging machine actuator supply

Feed light-duty air cylinders and small actuators on a packaging or labelling machine from a 1/4 in regulated take-off, with the bar-scale square gauge giving the operator a clear local setting.

Pilot-scale process air line in a test lab

Regulate instrument and pilot-plant air at modest pressures on a bench or skid, where the low-pressure type, panel mounting and a wide -20 to 70 C operating span suit controlled environments.

Is the GR30008LF3TK AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator NPT1/4 the Right Regulator?

Pick the GR size by the port and flow your line needs: GR300 with 1/4 in ports suits compact circuits, while GR200, GR400 and GR600 step up for larger ports and higher flow demand. Because published flow is a set of curves rather than one rated number, send us your required flow and inlet pressure and we will confirm the right size before you order. This unit is the low-pressure (L) type, correct where the downstream setting must stay at or below 0.4 MPa; if you need settings up to 0.9 MPa, choose a standard GR instead. The square gauge here reads in bar; MPa and psi scales are also available, and an external round gauge is an option. Thread is NPT here, with PT (standard) and G as order options. A bracket is included and the GR can also be panel-mounted; the reverse (check) valve in this code holds the downstream setting if supply pressure is lost.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/4" here)
  • ✓ Standard 0.9 MPa or low-pressure 0.4 MPa
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, or order N without
  • ✓ Gauge shape C round / F square
  • ✓ Scale MPa (1), psi (2) or bar (3)
  • ✓ Reflux valve needed, order K

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install downstream of the filter, following the airflow arrow.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Set pressure while air is flowing, then lock the knob.
  • check Adjust within 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) only.
  • check Operating range -20 to +70 °C.
  • check Panel-mount or use the fixing bracket; do not hang it on tubing.

The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.

GR30008LF3TK AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator NPT1/4 FAQ

AirTAC publishes GR flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM figure. Send us your inlet pressure, set pressure and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.

L marks the low-pressure type: this regulator is set up for downstream settings up to 0.4 MPa instead of the standard GR range. Maximum inlet pressure is still 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the rest of the decode is unchanged: 1/4 in NPT ports, square gauge with bar scale, reverse (check) valve fitted, and a bracket included.
