GR30008LJF3T AirTAC Air Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure

The AirTAC GR30008LJF3T AirTAC Air Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/4" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.

About the GR30008LJF3T AirTAC Air Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure

The GR30008LJF3T is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator: it does one job, holding downstream pressure steady from a compressed-air supply. This configuration is the 300 size with a 1/4 in NPT port, built as the low-pressure type regulating up to 0.4 MPa, with an embedded square gauge reading in bar. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G family. It ships without a mounting bracket; the GR series is also panel-mountable.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, in standard and low-pressure types, with a choice of gauge scale and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet numbers for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GR30008LJF3T AirTAC Air Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure

GR300G-series pressure regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
08Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
LLow-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
JSupplied without bracket.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
FGauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square.
3Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.

Size Class

  • GR200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GR300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GR400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GR600PT3/4" - PT1"

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Where the GR30008LJF3T AirTAC Air Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure Is Used

precision_manufacturing

Low-pressure clamping on a CNC fixture circuit

A machining cell that clamps delicate aluminium workpieces with air cylinders needs a steady, limited downstream pressure well below full line pressure. This regulator, set in bar on its square gauge, holds that low setpoint so clamping force stays repeatable part after part.

tune

Packaging machine sealing bars

Heat-seal and forming stations on a packaging line use light-duty actuators that are damaged by full header pressure. A low-pressure GR300 on the 1/4 in branch feed lets a technician dial in and hold the pressure those actuators were designed for, with the gauge giving a clear local reading.

air

Air knife and blow-off nozzle feed

A blow-off station clearing dust from parts before inspection runs best at a gentle, fixed pressure. Fed from the shop main through this low-pressure regulator, the nozzles get a stable supply that does not scatter lightweight parts, and operators can read the setting at a glance.

Is the GR30008LJF3T AirTAC Air Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure the Right Regulator?

Pick the GR size and port by the flow your line needs: 200 through 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, stepping up as demand grows. This unit is the low-pressure type, capped at 0.4 MPa - if your circuit needs the standard 0.05-0.9 MPa range, choose a GR without the L code. Choose the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and the thread: PT is the standard, with G and NPT as orderable options. A bracket can be included or omitted (this one has none), and the GR can also be panel-mounted. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/4" here)
  • ✓ Standard 0.9 MPa or low-pressure 0.4 MPa
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, or order N without
  • ✓ Gauge shape C round / F square
  • ✓ Scale MPa (1), psi (2) or bar (3)
  • ✓ Reflux valve needed, order K

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install downstream of the filter, following the airflow arrow.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Set pressure while air is flowing, then lock the knob.
  • check Adjust within 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) only.
  • check Operating range -20 to +70 °C.
  • check Panel-mount or use the fixing bracket; do not hang it on tubing.

Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.

GR30008LJF3T AirTAC Air Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure FAQ

AirTAC publishes regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so there is no one flow number we can quote. We will confirm the datasheet flow curve for the GR300 at your conditions on request - just tell us your inlet pressure and expected consumption and we will check the sizing with you before you order.

The L in the code marks the low-pressure type of the GR series, which regulates up to 0.4 MPa. Standard GR units cover 0.05-0.9 MPa. If your circuit needs a setpoint above 0.4 MPa, the low-pressure type is the wrong choice - pick a standard GR300 in the same size and port instead.
