GR30015LNT AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2

The AirTAC GR30015LNT AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/2" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.

About the GR30015LNT AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2

The GR30015LNT is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator, and regulation is all it does: there is no filter, no bowl and no lubricator in this unit. This is the 300 size with a 1/2 in NPT port, built as the low-pressure type, so the outlet setting can be adjusted up to 0.4 MPa while the inlet tolerates a maximum working pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). The trailing N in the code means no gauge is fitted, so downstream pressure is set against your own instrumentation unless you order a gauge variant. Operating temperature is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G family, which helps in colder plant air environments.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR line spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with 1/8 in to 1 in ports, and each size can be ordered as the standard type (0.05-0.9 MPa range) or this low-pressure type, with or without a gauge, with a reverse/check valve, in PT, G or NPT thread, and panel-mounted if needed. Rated flow for the GR300 is published as a curve rather than a single figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet numbers against your application before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GR30015LNT AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2

GR300G-series pressure regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
15Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
LLow-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Fixing bracket included.
NNo pressure gauge (N).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.

Size Class

  • GR200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GR300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GR400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GR600PT3/4" - PT1"

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Where the GR30015LNT AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 Is Used

settings_input_component

Low-pressure clamp circuit on a welding fixture

Welding fixtures often clamp sheet metal with actuators that must not crush thin stock. The GR30015LNT holds a low set pressure, up to 0.4 MPa, on the clamp line of the fixture so the cylinders grip without deforming the part.

conveyor_belt

Gentle hold-down air on a bottling line conveyor

On a bottling or canning conveyor, hold-down and stabiliser pads work best at low pressure so containers are guided, not squeezed. This regulator keeps that branch of the line set well below main header pressure.

precision_manufacturing

Air tension control on a textile winding machine

Textile winding and take-up stations use light air pressure on thread guides and tension arms. The low-pressure GR30015LNT on the 1/2 in supply to the station lets operators set that delicate pressure independently of the mill's main air system.

Is the GR30015LNT AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 the Right Regulator?

Start with the port and size: the 300 body takes a 1/2 in port here, and the size step (200/300/400/600) is what moves you up in flow capacity, so size the regulator from the air demand of the circuit rather than the pipe alone. Then pick the type: this L variant is the low-pressure type, correct where the set point must stay at or below 0.4 MPa; for settings up to 0.9 MPa choose the standard GR. Decide on a gauge (fitted square gauge, or external round gauge with MPa, psi or bar scale) or run ungaugeed as this N-coded unit does. Thread is NPT here; PT is the catalogue standard and G is also orderable. A bracket is included, and the GR can also be panel-mounted.

One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes GR flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the right size from the datasheet before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/2" here)
  • ✓ Standard 0.9 MPa or low-pressure 0.4 MPa
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, or order N without
  • ✓ Gauge shape C round / F square
  • ✓ Scale MPa (1), psi (2) or bar (3)
  • ✓ Reflux valve needed, order K

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install downstream of the filter, following the airflow arrow.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Set pressure while air is flowing, then lock the knob.
  • check Adjust within 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) only.
  • check Operating range -20 to +70 °C.
  • check Panel-mount or use the fixing bracket; do not hang it on tubing.

Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.

GR30015LNT AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 FAQ

AirTAC publishes GR-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated number, so we do not state a flow figure for this unit. Tell us your required flow and operating pressures and we will confirm the datasheet curve and check the sizing for your application on request.

L marks the low-pressure type: the outlet setting range tops out at 0.4 MPa instead of the standard type's 0.05-0.9 MPa. N means no pressure gauge is supplied with this unit. If you want a gauge, the GR300 is available with a fitted square gauge or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scale.
