GR30015NTK AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2

The AirTAC GR30015NTK AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/2" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.

About the GR30015NTK AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2

The GR30015NTK is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator: it does one job, holding your downstream pressure steady at the setting you choose, and it contains no filter element and no lubricator. This unit is the 300 size with a 1/2 in NPT port, in the standard pressure type with a regulation range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). The trailing K in the code means a reverse (check) valve is fitted, so downstream pressure is held if the upstream supply is lost. No gauge is fitted in this configuration (code N), so add a separate gauge if you need to read the outlet setting. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the GR series carries the widest temperature window in the G family: -20 to 70 C.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans four sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as order options, a low-pressure type (L) rated up to 0.4 MPa, gauge and bracket choices, and an optional reverse valve. Flow for the GR series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

NNo pressure gauge (N).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
KReverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted.

Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.

Size Class

  • GR200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GR300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GR400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GR600PT3/4" - PT1"

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Where the GR30015NTK AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 Is Used

precision_manufacturing

Pneumatic press supply line

Set a stable, reduced pressure to a bench or C-frame pneumatic press so clamping and forming strokes run at the force the die was designed for, with the check valve holding the setting if shop air drops.

view_module

Packaging machine actuator bank

Feed a group of cylinders on a cartoning or case-packing machine from one regulated branch, keeping seal bars and pushers consistent across the shift instead of tracking fluctuating header pressure.

conveyor_belt

Conveyor gate and stopper circuit

Regulate the air to diverters, stoppers and gate cylinders along a conveyor line so parts are stopped and diverted gently and repeatably at each station.

Is the GR30015NTK AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 the Right Regulator?

Start with the port and flow path: the 300 size with a 1/2 in port suits lines where the 200 size (1/4 in to 3/8 in) would restrict flow, while the 400 and 600 sizes step up to 3/4 in and 1 in for higher demand. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, tell us your application and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order. Then settle the configuration choices: standard type (0.05-0.9 MPa) versus the L low-pressure type (up to 0.4 MPa); gauge or no gauge, and if you add one, the scale (MPa, psi or bar) and the embedded square or external round style; thread type, with PT as the standard and G (BSPP) or NPT ordered to match your piping; whether a reverse (check) valve is wanted, as on this K-coded unit; and bracket, which is included unless you order the J no-bracket version. GR is also panel-mountable.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/2" here)
  • ✓ Standard 0.9 MPa or low-pressure 0.4 MPa
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, or order N without
  • ✓ Gauge shape C round / F square
  • ✓ Scale MPa (1), psi (2) or bar (3)
  • ✓ Reflux valve needed, order K

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install downstream of the filter, following the airflow arrow.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Set pressure while air is flowing, then lock the knob.
  • check Adjust within 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) only.
  • check Operating range -20 to +70 °C.
  • check Panel-mount or use the fixing bracket; do not hang it on tubing.

The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.

GR30015NTK AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 FAQ

AirTAC publishes GR-series flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so there is no one figure we can honestly quote. Tell us your inlet pressure, set pressure and expected consumption, and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for the 300 size against your application before you order.

N means no gauge is fitted with the regulator, so you would add a separate gauge to read the outlet pressure. K means a reverse (check) valve is built in, which holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted. The T at the end is the thread: this unit has a 1/2 in NPT port, while PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) is the other order option.
