The AirTAC GR40010C2TK AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT3/8" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40010C2TK is an AirTAC GR400 series air pressure regulator for compressed air, and it does one job only: holding a stable downstream pressure. This configuration is the 400 size with a 3/8 in NPT thread, the standard regulator type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) against a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). It is fitted with an external round pressure gauge scaled in psi, a reverse/check valve (code K) that holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply is lost, and a mounting bracket is included; the GR400 can also be panel-mounted. Operating temperature is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G family.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR400 is the largest of the four GR sizes (200/300/400/600), each stepping up in port size and flow capacity, and the range offers choices in thread (PT standard, G and NPT as order options), gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), a low-pressure type (L) limited to 0.4 MPa, and the K reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Fixing bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

A regulator ahead of clamping cylinders on a weld fixture holds a consistent clamping pressure shift after shift; the check valve keeps the clamp from relaxing if the main air supply drops.
On a packaging line, individual actuator groups (sealing arms, pushers, diverters) each get their own regulated supply so one setting change does not disturb the rest of the machine.
A drop point in a plant maintenance bay where technicians set a fixed, repeatable pressure for impact wrenches and air ratchets, with the psi gauge read directly at the station.
Start with the port and size step: the GR400 with its 3/8 in connection is the right choice when your line is plumbed at 3/8 in and your flow demand sits above what the GR200/GR300 sizes serve - match the size against the published flow curve rather than a single rating. Then set the options: gauge scale (this unit is psi; MPa and bar scales are available), thread family (PT is the standard, G and NPT are ordered as options - this unit is NPT), the K reverse/check valve where downstream pressure must be held on supply loss, the L low-pressure type if you never regulate above 0.4 MPa, and the J code if you do not want the bracket. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated number, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air demand, and we will confirm the sizing against the GR400 datasheet curve on request before you order.
K is the reverse/check valve option. It allows downstream pressure to hold when the upstream supply is lost or removed, which matters on circuits such as clamps or holding cylinders where losing pressure would release the load. This unit also carries a round gauge scaled in psi and an NPT 3/8 in port; PT is the standard thread and G/NPT are order options.
