The AirTAC GR40010JC3TK AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator 3/8 NPT is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT3/8" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40010JC3TK is an AirTAC GR400 series air pressure regulator, a regulation-only unit: it reduces and holds a stable downstream pressure from a compressed-air supply, with no filtration or lubrication function. This 400-size configuration carries a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard regulator type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). It is fitted with an external round pressure gauge scaled in bar, a reverse/check valve (code K) that holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply is lost, and it is ordered without a mounting bracket; the GR body is also panel-mountable. As a regulator it has no bowl and no drain. Operating temperature is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G-series families.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, in PT (standard), G and NPT threads, with optional low-pressure type, gauge scale in MPa, psi or bar, and an optional reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set and hold the clamping or pressing pressure on a production press, keeping the force repeatable from shift to shift while the check valve holds the set pressure if the plant air drops.
Feed cylinders and actuators on a packaging or cartoning line at a fixed, stable pressure so sealing and forming motions stay consistent across the run.
Regulate the supply to grippers and end-of-arm tooling on a robot cell, where a steady, repeatable pressure is needed for gentle, consistent part handling.
Choose the GR size by the port and flow step your line needs: 200 for 1/8-1/4 in ports, 300 for 3/8-1/2 in, 400 for 1/2-3/4 in and 600 for 1 in, with larger sizes carrying higher flow. This unit is already the 400 size with a 3/8 in NPT port. Set the outlet pressure anywhere in the 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) range; if your circuit must hold pressure on air failure, keep the fitted reverse/check valve (K), otherwise a version without it can be specified. Pick the gauge scale you read in - this configuration is round, bar-scaled, with MPa and psi scales available as catalogue options. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard thread and G is also an order option. A mounting bracket is optional - this code is ordered without one, and the GR can alternatively be panel-mounted.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated number, ask us to confirm the sizing of the GR400 against your actual air demand before ordering.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a Cv, l/min or SCFM number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and sizing data from the datasheet on request before you order.
K means a reverse/check valve is fitted: it holds the downstream pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted. The C3 in the code means an external round pressure gauge scaled in bar is included; MPa and psi gauge scales are catalogue options. The code also shows T for an NPT 3/8 in port and J for no mounting bracket.
