The AirTAC GR40010NT AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator, NPT 3/8 in is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT3/8" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40010NT is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator for compressed air: it holds a steady downstream pressure regardless of swings in supply pressure or air demand. This is the size-400 unit with a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard (not low-pressure) regulator type covering 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and no gauge fitted (the N code), so you add your own gauge or order a gauge variant if you want a local reading. A mounting bracket is included, and the GR body is also panel-mountable.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as order options, optional gauges in square (embedded) or round (external) form with MPa, psi or bar scales, a low-pressure type (L) rated up to 0.4 MPa, and an optional reverse/check valve (K). Rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Fixing bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set a stable working pressure for a bench pneumatic press or clamping fixture so each stroke operates at the same setpoint, with the 3/8 in NPT port matching the shop drop to the cell.
Feed cylinders and grippers on a carton or bag packaging machine from a regulated branch, keeping actuator speed consistent as other machines on the same compressor draw air.
Install at the point of use on a factory air drop to step main-line pressure down to a safe, fixed level for hand tools, blow-off stations and small actuators.
Start with the port and size step: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port; if your line needs more flow, step up to size 600 with a larger port, and if it needs less, GR200 or GR300 in 1/8 in or 1/4 in will do. The standard type covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); if your setpoint sits at or below 0.4 MPa, the low-pressure L type gives finer control in that band. Decide on the gauge: none is fitted on this code, but gauge variants exist with an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, scaled in MPa (1), psi (2) or bar (3). Thread is NPT on this code; PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also orderable - pick the one matching your fittings. A bracket is included, and the K option adds a reverse/check valve if you need backflow protection.
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we cannot quote you a rated flow figure. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or l/min number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The N in GR40010NT means no gauge is included. GR regulators are available with an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, and the gauge scale can be specified as MPa (1), psi (2) or bar (3). If you want a local pressure reading, order a gauge variant of the same size and port.
