The AirTAC GR40015JF2G AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator G1/2 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/2" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40015JF2G is an AirTAC GR400 series air pressure regulator: it does one job, holding a stable downstream pressure from a compressed-air supply, and it contains no filter, no bowl and no lubricator. This configuration is the 400 size with a G1/2 (BSPP) female port, the standard regulator type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and an embedded square pressure gauge reading in psi (an external round gauge is optional, with MPa/psi/bar scales available). The J suffix means no mounting bracket is supplied; the GR body is also panel-mountable.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8" to 1", in PT (standard), G and NPT threads, with gauge scale, low-pressure type (up to 0.4 MPa) and reverse/check valve options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |

| Pressure gauge | Fitted — square, psi scale |
| Reflux valve | Not fitted |
| Mounting | Panel mounting; optional fixing bracket |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set and hold the working pressure feeding a pneumatic press or clamping cylinder, so the forming or holding force stays consistent from cycle to cycle.
Regulate the supply to sealing jaws, vacuum generators and actuator banks on a packaging line, protecting downstream components from supply-pressure swings.
Provide an adjustable, stable pressure point on a skid feeding air-operated process valves, where the actuator stroke pressure must be set independently of the plant air header.
Choose the GR size by port and required flow: this unit is size 400 with a 1/2" port; smaller 200/300 or larger 600 sizes step the port from 1/8" to 1". Because flow is published only as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your line before ordering. Other decodable choices: gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and square embedded vs optional external round gauge; thread (PT is the standard, G and NPT are order options); the L low-pressure type if your setpoint stays at or below 0.4 MPa; the K reverse/check valve; and bracket or no-bracket mounting.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your line pressure, setpoint and approximate air demand and we will confirm the flow curve and sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The F2 code in GR40015JF2G specifies the embedded square gauge with a psi scale. Gauge scale is a real ordering choice: 1 = MPa, 2 = psi, 3 = bar, and an external round gauge is also available, so pick the scale that matches the instruments your technicians read on site.
