The AirTAC GR40015LJF3T AirTAC Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/2" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40015LJF3T is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator: its only job is to hold a steady, reduced downstream pressure from your compressed-air supply. This is the 400 size with 1/2 in NPT ports, built as the low-pressure type, so its setting range tops out at 0.4 MPa for circuits that must never see full line pressure. It carries no filter and no bowl - regulation only - and comes with an embedded square gauge scaled in bar so operators can read and dial in the setpoint at a glance. It is fitted without a mounting bracket, and the GR body is also panel-mountable.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge scale choices, and PT, G or NPT threads to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| L | Low-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Feeding pneumatic clamps and swing cylinders on an assembly fixture that must close gently - the low-pressure type caps the setting at 0.4 MPa so delicate parts are held without crushing, with the bar gauge letting setters verify the setpoint.
Supplying the sealing-jaw cylinders on a bagging or wrapping line, where consistent, moderate pressure keeps seals uniform and the regulator absorbs swings from the shop-air header upstream.
Trimming bench air for lab rigs and test stations that run at reduced pressure, where the 1/2 in NPT ports suit the manifold feed and the square bar gauge gives a clear, repeatable reading for each test setup.
Start with the port step: the 400 size takes 1/2 in ports, one step up from the 300 series, so size up when your line runs larger piping or you want more headroom in the piping run - then let us confirm the flow against your demand, since flow is published as curves, not a single rating. This unit is the L low-pressure type (setting up to 0.4 MPa); if your circuit needs the full 0.05-0.9 MPa range, choose the standard GR version instead. The trailing T specifies NPT threads; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option. The F3 suffix gives you the embedded square gauge with a bar scale (psi and MPa scales are alternatives), J omits the bracket, and no K in the code means no reverse/check valve is fitted.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve for this 400-size, 1/2 in port unit against your application before you order.
L marks the low-pressure type: the setting range tops out at 0.4 MPa instead of the standard GR range, for circuits that must stay below full line pressure. F3 specifies the embedded square gauge with a bar scale (psi and MPa scales are available as alternatives). The T sets NPT threads, J omits the mounting bracket, and the absence of K means no reverse/check valve is fitted.
