The AirTAC GR40015NT AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/2" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40015NT is an AirTAC GR400 series air pressure regulator for compressed air, built around the 400 size with a 1/2 in NPT port. It is a regulation-only unit: it holds a stable downstream pressure set anywhere in its 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) range, with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). This configuration carries no gauge (the N code), so you pair it with your own panel gauge or order a gauge-equipped variant if you want a local readout. Operating temperature is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G family, and a mounting bracket is included; the GR series is also panel-mountable.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with matching port sizes, and options include a fitted gauge (round or square, MPa/psi/bar scales), a low-pressure type limited to 0.4 MPa, a reverse/check valve, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

A workholding or light-assembly press fed from a shop-air header uses the GR40015NT to hold a fixed clamping pressure at the cylinder, set once and left alone between shifts.
On a pick-and-place cell, the regulator keeps the supply to the gripper actuators at a repeatable pressure so part grip is consistent from cycle to cycle without touching the main header setting.
Packaging-line stoppers, pushers and diverter cylinders downstream of the GR40015NT see a stable pressure, so reject and divert actions stay predictable along the line.
Start with the size and port: the 400 size steps up from GR200/GR300 when your line runs larger 1/2 in piping, and stepping sizes is how you match the regulator to the flow your circuit needs. Then decide the options that change the code: a gauge (round or square body, with MPa, psi or bar scale) if you want a local setpoint readout; the L low-pressure type if your circuit must never exceed 0.4 MPa; the K reverse/check valve if backflow protection is needed; and the thread - PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as orderable options, as on this NPT unit. A mounting bracket is included as standard.
One honest note before you order: AirTAC publishes regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves before you commit.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as performance curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air demand, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
Yes. The N in GR40015NT means no gauge is fitted. GR regulators can be ordered with an embedded square gauge or an optional external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales - just pick the gauge and scale code when you order. The regulation range itself is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) on this standard type.
