The AirTAC 2W series is a family of 2-port solenoid valves built for one job: opening or shutting a line. Two ports, two states - the valve is either open or closed on the line. It is a shut-off valve, not a directional valve, so it does not route air to a cylinder; that is work for a 5-port valve such as the 4V, 5V or 6V.
