The AirTAC SDAD series is the double-rod version of the SDA compact (thin) cylinder family. A rod exits both ends, so the push and pull forces are equal in both directions. The twin rods also resist rotation and guide the load directly, eliminating the need for external guide rails in many setups.
The range spans 10 bores from 12 to 100 mm. Port sizes scale with the bore: M5x0.8 for 12-25 mm, PT1/8 for 32-40 mm, PT1/4 for 50-63 mm, and PT3/8 for 80-100 mm. Because the pull side has equal force, the force class at 0.5 MPa spans roughly 45 N on the 12 mm bore up to about 3600 N on the 100 mm bore.
Shared design features include a double-acting mechanism, a space-saving riveted body with C-clip retention, and fixed NBR bumpers that decelerate the piston near stroke end.
