The SGCJ is a double-acting, single-rod tie-rod cylinder where the aluminum barrel is clamped to the covers by four steel tie rods. It provides adjustable air cushions at both ends that decelerate the piston near stroke end. An external adjuster shortens the extend stroke on site by the adjust window (nominal stroke is the maximum; the retract end remains fixed). Force matches a single-rod SGC of the same bore.
The range covers four bores: 125, 160, 200 and 250mm. Push force at 0.5 MPa spans about 6136 N on the 125mm bore up to 24543 N on the 250mm bore. Theoretical max force at 1.0 MPa spans about 1251 kgf to 5006 kgf. Standard strokes reach up to 1500mm across all bores.
Adjust windows of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75 and 100mm are available. Ports range from G1/2 (125mm bore) to G1 (250mm bore) with PT or G threads. Operating pressure is 0.15-1.0 MPa with proof pressure of 1.5 MPa. Standard temperature is -20 to +70 C, extending to 0-150 C with Viton H seals. Speed ranges 30-500 mm/s. Mounting options include Basic, FA, LB, TC, FTC, TCM1 and TCM2.

How to Choose the Right Model
Choose the bore by required force: the 125mm bore gives about 6136 N push at 0.5 MPa, while the 250mm bore delivers 24543 N. Select the adjust window (10-100mm) based on how much you need to trim the extend stroke on site. Confirm these five points: bore size, nominal stroke and adjust window, port thread (G or PT), mounting style (Basic, FA, LB, TC, FTC, TCM1, TCM2), and whether you need the -S magnet for CMSG/DMSG/EMSG sensors.
If you need a fixed stroke without external stops, the plain SGC series is simpler. For applications needing equal push and pull forces, step out to the SGCD double-rod cylinder. The SGCJ avoids external stops for big-bore stroke trimming but does not hold position when pressure is lost; a mechanical lock or pilot check valve is required for load holding.
