The AirTAC AirTAC 3V100M-20 3V-F Base (3V100M20F) is a genuine 3V-F manifold base manifold base for 20 stations on one shared air supply. A base is a machined block: it carries no coil and no solenoid, so the valves that sit on it are ordered separately.
With twenty positions, the 3V100M20F is the fullest base in the AirTAC 3V1 range, which steps from 1F to 20F. Twenty 3/2 solenoid valves share one machined block, one air inlet and one wiring path - a cabinet full of on/off switching compressed into a single replaceable unit.
A genuine AirTAC part. Each of the twenty positions is filled by a valve you order separately, and those valves can be mixed freely: normally closed with normally open, AC220V next to DC24V, DIN plug beside flying lead - all exist across the family. Send the RFQ when you want datasheet figures such as pressure and flow confirmed for the valves you have chosen.

A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Twenty tray pushers and lid clamps on a packing line, each actuator on its own valve position while one filtered air supply serves the whole block.
A sorting matrix where each chute gate has its own spring-return actuator and its own valve position on the shared machined block.
Reject gates and counter blow-offs along a conveyor, sequenced valve by valve yet supplied from a single regulator and filter set.
Plan the block like a terminal strip: assign each position a function, then order a valve for it with the right state, the coil voltage your panel actually supplies and the entry your loom expects. PT thread is the family standard; G and NPT are catalogue options. Twenty separately ordered valves take some specifying - ask us to check each one's datasheet against its job before you commit.
Two routing notes. First, where published flow and coil-power figures are a requirement rather than a nice-to-have, the AirTAC 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in) and 3V3 (1/4in) bodies are the documented 3-port option. Second, no 3/2 valve - on this base or off it - can drive a double-acting cylinder; that calls for the 5-port AirTAC 4V series.
Confirm before you order
Correct: the 3V100M20F is a manifold block, so its documentation covers ports and stations rather than pressure or flow. The performance numbers belong to the valves you mount. List the variants you want per position and we will confirm each from the datasheet on request. When printed flow and coil-power data must be in hand before you order, the AirTAC 3V2 and 3V3 bodies are the documented alternative.
Yes - positions are filled by valves ordered separately, so you can populate what the machine needs now and add more as it grows. Each added valve brings its own state, voltage and entry choice, and a spare position costs nothing until used. Keep in mind that a 3/2 position can never drive a double-acting cylinder; that requirement belongs to the AirTAC 4V series.
