Specified with 1/8in NPT ports, the 3V106A-NT is the 3V1 valve set up for North American tapered pipe threads, ordered here with the AC220V 4.5 VA coil on a DIN plug. What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

If your plant pipes in G (BSPP) rather than NPT, order the plain 3V106A instead - NPT is a catalogue option, not an interchange, so specify the thread at order time. For flow, remember 3V1 is the smallest 3V body and publishes no Cv; scale up to 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in, NC or NO selectable, Cv 0.18-0.19, vacuum rated) or 3V3 (1/4in, Cv 0.62) when you need more, or to 3V2M when manifold density outranks flow. Double-acting cylinders need the 5-port AirTAC 4V series.
