The AirTAC Airtac 3V1 Solenoid Valve 3V106A3F-AM is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
This listing is the AirTAC 3V106A3F-AM: the three-station 3V1 manifold code with its -AM ordering suffix, 1/8in PT ports and AC220V coils. Confirm the exact scope of the -AM suffix on the datasheet or with our team before you order - the base function of every section is unchanged: a 3/2, direct-acting, single-solenoid, spring-return valve that feeds or vents one line, driving single-acting cylinders, blow jets, clamps or a pilot stage.
Each AC220V coil is rated 4.5 VA with IP65 (DIN 40050) protection, and a manual override on every section makes first-time setup straightforward. If the suffix or the assembled configuration does not match your BOM, send the RFQ and we will confirm the correct code.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V1 catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V1 | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| AC220V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| — | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 3F | 3 stations in one assembly. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Drive a single-acting ejector or knockout cylinder on a small injection tool, with the spring position venting the line between shots.
Kick a light parcel off a conveyor with a spring-return diverter cylinder; the valve vents the cylinder the moment the coil drops out.
Fire a short air jet to part small stamped components from the pick head after placement, timed by the PLC through the solenoid coil.
Because AirTAC publishes no Cv for the 3V1 body, this is a valve to choose for control and packaging density, not for flow. When air demand is the deciding factor, move up to the 3V2 (1/8in or 1/4in, NC or NO selectable, Cv 0.18-0.19, vacuum rated) or the 3V3 (1/4in, Cv 0.62); when manifold density outranks flow, the 3V2M is built for exactly that. Lock down five parameters with your RFQ: the port (1/8in on this code), the thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order), the voltage (AC220V, 4.5 VA), the entry (DIN plug here, flying lead with the I code) and the station count (three here; 1F to 20F exists). For the meaning of the -AM suffix, confirm from the datasheet or ask us.
If the actuator is double-acting, stop here: a 3/2 valve cannot reverse it. Point the RFQ at the AirTAC 4V series instead.
Confirm before you order
Yes: 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi) operating pressure, -20 to 70 C, 4.5 VA AC220V coil (AC110V 4.5 VA, AC24V 5.0 VA, DC24V 3.0 W, DC12V 2.5 W), IP65 (DIN 40050) coils, 40 um filtration, lubrication-free operation. One caveat: there is no published Cv or effective area for 3V1, so request confirmation from us for flow-sensitive duties.
Voltage codes on this body are A (AC220V, 4.5 VA), C (AC110V, 4.5 VA), E (AC24V, 5.0 VA), B (DC24V, 3.0 W) and F (DC12V, 2.5 W); this SKU is the A version. Entry is either a DIN plug (no letter in the code) or a flying lead (the I code, e.g. 3V106AI). Choose the lead-out type when you want a wired connection instead of a plug-in socket.
