The AirTAC Airtac 3V1 Solenoid Valve 3V106A7F is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
Seven 3/2 direct-acting valves share one base in the AirTAC 3V106A7F assembly, so a seven-circuit panel needs a fraction of the tubing, fittings and drilling of seven loose bodies. Every valve is a 1/8in PT, single-solenoid, spring-return unit: it either feeds its outlet or vents it, which suits single-acting cylinders, clamps, air blow and pilot duty.
Each AC220V coil takes 4.5 VA and meets IP65 (DIN 40050), and the DIN plug connection lets you unplug one station without disturbing the others. Manual overrides are fitted to help set-up and commissioning. Filter the air supply to 40 um or finer - no lubricator is needed. Supplied as genuine AirTAC product.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V1 catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V1 | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| AC220V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| — | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 7F | 7 stations in one assembly. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Pilots the actuator of a larger pneumatic knife-gate valve on a water-treatment skid, one 3V1 station per main valve.
Controls the fill-head clamp and purge circuits on a rotary bottling filler, seven circuits on one drilled manifold instead of seven loose bodies.
Runs intermittent air-blow nozzles that dry circuit boards after a wash stage, with each nozzle vented to exhaust while idle.
Because AirTAC publishes no flow coefficient for the 3V1 body, treat it as a small-port control valve and confirm duty-critical flow with us. When you need more, 3V2 offers 1/8in and 1/4in ports, a choice of NC or NO function, Cv 0.18-0.19 and a vacuum rating, while 3V3 gives a 1/4in port at Cv 0.62. For tight manifold layouts where flow is secondary, compare 3V2M. Never put 3V1 on a double-acting cylinder - that needs the 5-port AirTAC 4V series.
Before ordering, confirm the port (M5 or 1/8in), the thread (PT standard, with G or NPT as order options), the coil voltage, DIN plug versus flying lead, and how many stations your manifold requires.

Pressure 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi), temperature -20 to 70 C, IP65 protection (DIN 40050), and a 3/2 direct-acting spring-return function. Coil power depends on voltage: AC220V 4.5 VA, AC110V 4.5 VA, AC24V 5.0 VA, DC24V 3.0 W, DC12V 2.5 W. No Cv or effective area is published for 3V1; verify flow-critical applications with us.
Each three-port, two-state valve feeds or exhausts one line, so it cycles single-acting spring-return cylinders, clamps and punchers, runs intermittent air blow, or pilots a larger main valve. It cannot reverse a double-acting cylinder, which needs both a pressure and an exhaust path - use the AirTAC 4V series there.
