The AirTAC Airtac 3V1 Solenoid Valve 3V106AI2F is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
The 3V106AI2F pairs two 3/2 direct-acting 3V1 valves on a short manifold and wires each AC220V coil through a pre-fitted flying lead rather than a DIN socket. Spring return gives each station its vent state whenever power is removed, while energising the coil feeds the line - a straightforward match for single-acting cylinders, clamps, blow duty or pilot signalling.
With 4.5 VA per coil and a manual override on each valve, the pair suits compact control panels where a maintenance electrician prefers screw-terminal lead wiring to plug-in connectors.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V1 catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V1 | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| AC220V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| I | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 2F | 2 stations in one assembly. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
A single-acting ejector cylinder on a bench stamping press kicks finished parts clear; the 3/2 valve vents the cylinder on every return stroke.
On a water treatment skid, one station pilots a larger diaphragm process valve while the second runs a periodic flush line.
Flying-lead wiring reaches a paint booth controller where the 3V1 opens and vents the atomising air line to the spray gun.
Size this 2-station, flying-lead set both ways. As the smallest body in AirTAC's 3V series, 3V1 carries no published Cv, so verify flow-sensitive applications with us. If a station needs greater capacity, specify 3V2 (1/8in or 1/4in, selectable NC or NO, Cv 0.18-0.19, vacuum rated) or 3V3 (1/4in, Cv 0.62); where dense packaging beats flow, 3V2M is the manifold specialist. Double-acting actuators belong with the 5-port AirTAC 4V valves.
Confirm before purchase: the M5 or 1/8in port, thread style (PT comes as standard, G and NPT are order codes), AC220V or another coil voltage, flying lead versus DIN plug, and whether a 2F manifold is the right station count.

This 2-station 3/2 valve assembly works at 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi) between -20 and 70 C with IP65 (DIN 40050) protection, on air filtered to 40 um or finer. Its AC220V coil consumes 4.5 VA; family figures are 4.5 VA on AC110V, 5.0 VA on AC24V, 3.0 W on DC24V and 2.5 W on DC12V. A flow coefficient for 3V1 has not been published, so confirm critical flow with the datasheet.
The I in 3V106AI2F means each solenoid leaves the factory with a pre-wired lead-out, so you land the wires directly on terminal strips or a gland plate instead of plugging in a DIN connector. Voltage code A is AC220V at 4.5 VA. If your panel is built around plug-in DIN sockets, order the same valve without the I suffix.
