The AirTAC Airtac 3V1 Solenoid Valve 3V106B2F is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
Two circuits, one small base: the AirTAC 3V106B2F mounts a pair of 3/2 direct-acting solenoid valves side by side, each independently wired and independently sprung. A 3/2 valve controls a single line - supply it, or dump it to exhaust - so this pair suits matched single-acting cylinders, a clamp plus a blow nozzle, or two separate pilot signals.
Both coils run on DC24V at 3.0 W with IP65 (DIN 40050) protection, and each valve carries a manual override for commissioning. The 1/8in ports use the PT thread that is this family's standard.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V1 catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V1 | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| DC24V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| — | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 2F | 2 stations in one assembly. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Raises and lowers a spring-return stopper that pauses cartons at a merge point, the spring return dropping the gate whenever coil power is lost.
Operates the hold-down and the part-ejector cylinders of a welding jig as two independent 3/2 circuits on one base, one valve per function.
Trims a precise puff of air to clean a filling nozzle between doses, with the manual override handy while dialling in the rinse cycle.
Use the 3V106B2F when two valves belong together but four would be too many - the base accepts further stations, and 1F to 20F are all catalogue codes. Because AirTAC publishes no Cv for 3V1, confirm flow-sensitive duties with us. Circuits demanding more flow step up to 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in, NC or NO selectable, Cv 0.18-0.19, vacuum rated) or 3V3 (1/4in, Cv 0.62), while 3V2M trades flow for manifold density. A double-acting cylinder requires the 5-port AirTAC 4V series.
Confirm five things before ordering: port (M5 or 1/8in), thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order), coil voltage, entry style (DIN plug or flying lead), and valve count per base.

Pressure 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi); temperature -20 to 70 C; air filtered through a 40 um or finer element. Each of the two DC24V coils takes 3.0 W and is protected to IP65 (DIN 40050). The valve is a direct-acting 3/2 with spring return. AirTAC states no Cv for the 3V1 body, so verify flow duty with our team.
The spring return takes each spool to its single fixed initial state - confirm exactly which state that is on the datasheet before wiring the interlock. A manual override on each valve lets you cycle the pair by hand during set-up. Do not use it on a double-acting cylinder; that is a job for the AirTAC 4V series.
