3V106BI3F is a three-station manifold of AirTAC 3V1 valves: three 3/2 direct-acting units sharing one PT1/8 base, each coil DC24V at only 3.0 W and each wired through a pre-fitted flying lead instead of a DIN socket. Every station feeds or vents a single line - supply, outlet, exhaust - so it can drive a spring-return cylinder, run a blow jet, switch a clamp or pilot a larger process valve, then spring back the moment the coil drops out.
Putting three valves on one block saves panel space and fitting count compared with three separate bodies. Coil housings are IP65 (DIN 40050), a manual override on each station speeds commissioning, and the air supply needs only 40 um or finer filtration with no lubrication. What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
